The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology of ANAS was held.

Opening the meeting, the chairman of the Scientific Council, director of the institute, academician Irada Huseynova congratulated all the female staff of the institute on March 8 - International Women's Day. Speaking about the important role of women in the scientific and social life of the institution, the academician said that the majority of employees of the institute are women. She said that two employees of the institute - Doctors of Philosophy in Biology Fazila Gasimova and Samira Rustamova - celebrated a significant day in accordance with the appeal of the Women's Council of ANAS "On the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day to nominate women employees for their scientific and social activities" were awarded the Honorary Decree of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS.
