Employees of the Mycology Laboratory of the Institute of Botany of ANAS Elnara Iskenderli and Yagut Yusifova took part in the training "Fundamental techniques in viral diseases diagnostics" organized by the Standing Committee on Science and Technology of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH).

The four-session event focused on current viral diseases, COVID-19 virus and the proposed vaccines against it, as well as effective diagnostic methods for these diseases. Experts from different countries spoke at the training and shared their experience in the field of virology.

After the speeches, the questions of the participants were answered, interesting discussions were organized on the topic, discussions were held. At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
